Sports Fan

Another fun cake that I did this weekend was for a friend's significant other who is a big sports fan. Here in this neck of the woods our sports teams are the Cavs (who by the way are in the 2nd round of the NBA playoffs), The Cleveland Indians (or as we lovingly refer to them the Tribe) and the Cleveland Browns (I'll just leave it at that)

So I decorated the cake with our teams and a remote which I definitely know is a guy thing. The recipent seemed pretty happy with that piece alone!!

Here's the funny part of this tale, for some reason I thought I was delivering the cake one place which is where I went only to find them closed (Urrghhh) and then frantically searching my cell phone for a contact number to no success so my dear hubby said let's go to place number two which was also closed and at this point I more frantic and ready to head home when my cell phone rings well you know the rest of this story too. Nevertheless we headed to the correct delivery point arriving about 10 minutes late (Urrghhh) I hate being late.

Now I can laugh about the situation but during the time I was trying to deliver my little masterpiece I wasn't laughing at all. Sometimes though you need to laugh and get over yourself!!
